What is a research peptide?
A research peptide is a short chain of amino acids manufactured to a defined sequence and purity, supplied to laboratories for use in scientific investigation. It is a chemical reagent, not a finished pharmaceutical product, and is not intended for human or veterinary consumption.
What does "research use only" mean?

How do I verify a certificate of analysis?
A valid certificate states the batch number, test date, HPLC purity result, mass-spectrometry identity confirmation and the name of the issuing laboratory. Cross-check the batch number against the label on the vial you received, and request the certificate before ordering if you want to review it first — see /purity for the full checklist.
What purity do SemaxBuy peptides carry?
Every peptide we list is supplied at ≥99% purity, confirmed by HPLC and mass spectrometry and recorded on a batch-specific certificate of analysis, issued by an independent laboratory.
Is HPLC purity the same as identity confirmation?
No. HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) measures how much of the sample is the target compound versus impurities, expressed as a purity percentage. Mass spectrometry separately confirms that the molecule present matches the expected molecular weight and structure. A complete certificate of analysis reports both.

Can I return an order?

Why don't you publish product reviews or ratings?
A research reagent is not a consumer product, and we consider manufactured or incentivised reviews inappropriate for this category, particularly where health-adjacent products are concerned. Instead, every product page links to the underlying peer-reviewed literature so you can assess the evidence directly.
Is it legal to purchase research peptides in the EU?
Research peptides supplied as unformulated laboratory reagents are not classified as medicines and are not, in general, controlled substances, though the exact position can vary by member state and by institutional policy. How should I store a research peptide once received?
Lyophilised peptides are generally stored frozen and protected from light until use. Once reconstituted, published handling literature describes limited stability even under refrigeration, so laboratory practice is to prepare only what a given protocol requires. What is Semax?

What is the difference between Semax and N-Acetyl Semax Amidate?
