Research use only — not for human consumption.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often about purity, shipping, legal status and handling. All SemaxBuy products are supplied for laboratory research use only.

What is a research peptide?

A research peptide is a short chain of amino acids manufactured to a defined sequence and purity, supplied to laboratories for use in scientific investigation. It is a chemical reagent, not a finished pharmaceutical product, and is not intended for human or veterinary consumption.

What does "research use only" mean?

It means the product is supplied exclusively for laboratory research use only, is not formulated, labelled or authorised as a medicine, food or cosmetic, and must not be introduced into a human or animal body under any circumstance. Full detail is set out in our research disclaimer.

How do I verify a certificate of analysis?

A valid certificate states the batch number, test date, HPLC purity result, mass-spectrometry identity confirmation and the name of the issuing laboratory. Cross-check the batch number against the label on the vial you received, and request the certificate before ordering if you want to review it first — see /purity for the full checklist.

What purity do SemaxBuy peptides carry?

Every peptide we list is supplied at ≥99% purity, confirmed by HPLC and mass spectrometry and recorded on a batch-specific certificate of analysis, issued by an independent laboratory.

Is HPLC purity the same as identity confirmation?

No. HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) measures how much of the sample is the target compound versus impurities, expressed as a purity percentage. Mass spectrometry separately confirms that the molecule present matches the expected molecular weight and structure. A complete certificate of analysis reports both.

Do you ship across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe?

Yes, SemaxBuy ships by tracked courier to the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe, with handling of one business day and typical transit of two to five business days, free of charge on orders above €150.00. Full detail is at /shipping-returns.

Is shipping tracked and discreet?

Yes. Every order is dispatched with a tracking reference and travels in discreet, tamper-evident packaging with no product branding on the exterior. Delivery specifics for a particular order, including estimated transit time, are confirmed together with the order itself. See /shipping-returns for full detail.

How do I pay for an order?

Orders are placed and confirmed through our Telegram channel, where payment method, order total and delivery address are agreed in writing before dispatch.

Can I return an order?

Consumers within the EU may withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of delivery under Directive 2011/83/EU, provided the vial seal is intact. Buyers ordering in a professional or institutional capacity follow a separate set of return conditions. Full detail is at /shipping-returns.

Why don't you publish product reviews or ratings?

A research reagent is not a consumer product, and we consider manufactured or incentivised reviews inappropriate for this category, particularly where health-adjacent products are concerned. Instead, every product page links to the underlying peer-reviewed literature so you can assess the evidence directly.

Is it legal to purchase research peptides in the EU?

Research peptides supplied as unformulated laboratory reagents are not classified as medicines and are not, in general, controlled substances, though the exact position can vary by member state and by institutional policy. Buyers are responsible for confirming the rules that apply to them; see our research disclaimer.

How should I store a research peptide once received?

Lyophilised peptides are generally stored frozen and protected from light until use. Once reconstituted, published handling literature describes limited stability even under refrigeration, so laboratory practice is to prepare only what a given protocol requires. See our reconstitution and storage guide for step-by-step handling.

What is Semax?

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide related to a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone, studied in the literature mainly in relation to neurotrophic signalling and cognition-related measures in animal and clinical research. Our full overview is at /semax.

What is the difference between Semax and N-Acetyl Semax Amidate?

N-Acetyl Semax Amidate is an acetylated analogue of Semax reported in the literature to have greater in vitro metabolic stability than the parent peptide. The two compounds are studied separately in the sources we cite; see our NA-Semax Amidate guide.

Do you offer bulk or institutional orders?

Yes. Larger or recurring orders for laboratories and institutions can be arranged directly by Telegram; include the compounds, quantities and delivery schedule you need when you get in touch.

What information should I include when I contact you?

For a purity question, include the batch number printed on your vial label. For an order question, include your order reference or the Telegram handle you ordered under. See /contact for full detail.

Can these products be used by humans?

No. Every product listed on this site is supplied for laboratory research use only and is not intended for human or veterinary consumption under any circumstance.
