Terms of Sale
These terms of sale ("Terms") govern every order placed through SemaxBuy (semaxbuy.com) for laboratory research peptides, confirmed by message on Telegram. By placing an order you accept these Terms together with the research disclaimer, which forms an integral part of the contract between us.
1. Object of these Terms
SemaxBuy lists synthetic peptide reagents for laboratory research use only. These Terms cover how an order is formed, priced, delivered and, where applicable, withdrawn or returned. They do not cover, and nothing on this site constitutes, an offer of a medicine, foodstuff or cosmetic product.
2. Eligibility and declared use
By ordering, the buyer declares and warrants that: they are acquiring the goods for laboratory research purposes and not for human or veterinary consumption; they are at least eighteen years old and have full legal capacity to contract; and they are responsible for confirming that possession, import and handling of the ordered reagent is lawful in their own country and institution. We may refuse or cancel an order where these declarations cannot reasonably be relied on, including where an order description or delivery pattern suggests an intended use outside laboratory research.
3. Prices and product information
All prices shown on this site are in euro (€). The price that applies to an order is the price confirmed in writing at the time of order, not a price shown at an earlier or later date. Purity, sequence, molecular weight and batch data are stated on each product page and supported by the certificate of analysis referenced at /purity. Where a listed product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we offer a full refund or, if the buyer prefers, a substitute of equivalent specification.
4. Formation of the contract
Orders begin on the product catalogue and are finalised by message exchange on Telegram, where quantity, delivery address and total price are confirmed in writing before payment. The contract is formed at the point we send written order confirmation, not at the point an enquiry is sent. That confirmation includes our registered trading details, which are provided on request and on the confirmation itself.
5. Delivery
Confirmed orders are handled within 0-1 business days and shipped by tracked courier across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe, with typical transit of 2-5 business days after dispatch. Shipping is free of charge on orders above €150.00; below that threshold the shipping charge is confirmed together with the order total before payment. Risk in the goods passes to the buyer on delivery to the address supplied. Quoted delivery windows are estimates, not contractual deadlines; where a shipment is materially delayed we will notify the buyer and offer cancellation with a full refund.
6. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
Where the buyer orders as a consumer under EU law, the right of withdrawal set out in Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights applies: the buyer may withdraw from the contract within fourteen calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, by informing us clearly by Telegram or at orders@semaxbuy.com. Procedure, exceptions for opened sealed vials, and refund timing are set out in full at /shipping-returns. Buyers who order in a professional or institutional research capacity, rather than as a consumer, are not covered by this consumer right and instead follow the return conditions described on that page.
7. Limitation of liability
Products are supplied on the basis of the specification stated on the certificate of analysis for the relevant batch, for laboratory research use only. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned. We accept no liability for use of a product outside a laboratory research setting, for use inconsistent with the research disclaimer, or for the buyer's failure to comply with the import, storage or handling rules of their own jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence.
8. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rule of the buyer's own country of residence that cannot be set aside by agreement. Any dispute is first addressed directly between the parties by Telegram or at orders@semaxbuy.com. Consumers resident in the EU may also contact the out-of-court dispute resolution (ADR) body competent in their own member state; the centralised European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased operation on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, and complaints are now directed to national ADR entities or to the guidance service published at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. Failing agreement, the courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction a consumer holds in their home member state.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our practice or in applicable law; the version published on this page at the time an order is confirmed applies to that order.
